Saint Hugh of Châteauneuf (Hugh of Grenoble) was the Bishop of Grenoble (Lyon, France) from 1080 to his death in 1132. He was also instrumental in the foundation of the Carthusian Order. HSaint Hugh received Saint Bruno of Cologne, and six of his companions in 1084, after seeing them under a banner of seven stars in a dream. Hugh installed the seven monks in a snowy and rocky Alpine location called Chartreuse.
